We like to give back what we can to charities, organizations, teams and schools, to assist in meeting their fundraising goals!<div> <br /></div><div>This summer, we've been fortunate to meet with Valerie's Flutter Foundation. Valerie, a young woman in Orleans, fought the battle against a rare form of cancer called Chondrosarcoma, bringing her life to an end on June 15th. Her foundation, Valerie's Flutter Foundation, raising awareness of rare cancers, and raising money to help find a cure lives on through her family.</div><div> <br /></div><div>On both July 18th, and August 8th, Valerie's Flutter Foundation gathered family, friends, teachers, co-students, and complete strangers at our restaurant to raise funds for the foundation. </div><div> <br /></div><div>On both occasions, we at BP Orleans donated back 10% of the receipts collected by their Guests, bringing their 2-event total donation to $770.38! On top of this, Valerie's Flutter Foundation, sold over $2500 worth of bracelets and t-shirts, all going to the foundation.</div><div> <br /></div><div>Valerie's Flutter Foundation is a prime example of the way your organization can raise significant funds for something so amazing as finding a cure for cancer. All parents have to do is bring their kids in for dinner, and with every kids meal purchase, a ballot is given for the kids to enter in their name to win! How simple is that?!</div><div><br /></div><div>To pair the promotion up with a fundraiser, we're hosting an event with Best Tools for Schools in support of Supplies for Smaller Scholars to help raise funds for those who may not be able to afford all of the back to school products that are needed. <b> On August 30th, from 5-9pm</b>, we invite all of you to come out, and have dinner with your family or like-minded individuals and donate your receipt to the drop box. 10% of your subtotal will be donated to the organization!!! Also, they will be hosting a silent auction with goodies to win!</div><div><br /></div><div>Another great event we're hosting is on August 23rd from 5-9pm, where a local team in the city's Underwear Affair will be hosting a fundraiser with a raffle draw and a 50/50 draw to help raise money for their team in the 5km walk and 10km run.
